If Facebook canceled your account because you weren’t using your real name, you’ll have a chance to explain your situation in a moment.
Take a picture of your ID. If the document is not blank on one side, take photos of both the front and the back. Transfer the photo(s) to your computer. Click Choose Files. Select the pictures to upload. Click Open.
If your legal name is different than your Facebook name, tell Facebook why. For example, if you’re in the process of a name change, make that clear.
