If you’re using Teams on the web, you can only share your screen from Chrome or the latest version of Edge.

If you want to start a new chat, click the “new chat” icon (it looks like a pencil on a piece of paper) and enter the name of someone you want to chat with in order to create a one-on-one chat. If you want to create a group chat, start off with a one-on-one chat, then click the down-arrow next to the “To” field and type a name for the group chat and add the names of people you want to invite to the group. When you share your screen, the other people in the chat will get a notification. They can either accept or reject your screen share, but they will only see your screen if they accept.
