Take off any of your doll’s clothing and accessories. Fill the basin or container with water. Then, lather your LOL tot/pet with soap. Rinse all the soap off after. Put your tween or OMG doll in a large basin full of water or the sink if the sink is clean enough.
Some LOL/OMG dolls’ unique hairstyles are held up with glue. Don’t wash them if you don’t want to restyle their hair. Be gentle with the hair, and don’t brush it hard with any comb made for humans of any type.
The plastic clothes aren’t as flexible if you’re trying to move your doll/pet’s arms and legs. They also can be quite difficult to get on sometimes, especially the pants.
Cut the bottom of a balloon and slide it onto your doll for an easy balloon dress. Measure your doll, cut two pieces of an item of clothing, and glue the two pieces together at the sides to make paper clothing.
Prepare a container filled with water. Put the bottle inside of the water and squeeze the bottle. This fills the bottle with water from its straw. Put the straw of the bottle inside of the tot/pet’s mouth. Squeeze the bottle gently. The water will come out of the pet/tot’s mouth if you squeeze the bottle hard. You may even break part of the bottle.
Use erasers that look like food. Some food erasers can be put together like a puzzle. These are usually sold in stationery stores. You can also buy doll food in toy stores or online. Make your own doll food using materials you have. Some options include clay and Play-Doh, paper, hot glue, and cardboard. Do not stuff the food into the doll’s mouth. Gently feed him/her, or else the food will likely get stuck in the doll/pet’s mouth.
You can buy one at most toy stores. L. O. L. Surprise also makes its own doll houses, like the Home Sweet Home house, the Winter Chalet and the House of Surprises mansion. For a cheaper option, you can make your own doll house. You can make a doll house out of many home materials like cardboard boxes and shelves.
Add accessories like beds, closets, drawers, and carpets to the bedrooms of your doll house. Add furniture like a sofa, a fireplace, a rug, a table, and a TV to the living room of your doll house. Add accessories like a fridge, freezer, stove, and microwave to the kitchen of your doll house. Add accessories like sinks, bathtubs, cabinets, and showers to the bathrooms of your doll house.

Other dolls, like Barbie/Chelsea or Bratz dolls have more proportionate eyes that take up around 30-40% of their face. Rainbow High dolls have eyes that take up around 40% of their face.
Bratz and Rainbow High dolls have big lips, Barbies have medium lips, and LOL tots have small, open mouths to put a bottle in.
Barbies and Bratz dolls have heads that take up 20-30% of their whole body. Since L. O. L. tots are only 8 cm (3. 1 in) tall, their heads take up 40-50% of their whole body! If your doll has a huge face, tiny mouth, and big round eyes it might be an L. O. L. doll. O. M. G. dolls have proportionately larger heads than Rainbow High dolls.
After you put L. O. L. toys in ice water or warm water, some dolls’ bodies will change color. Some dolls reveal a swimsuit, some dolls have new tights/gloves/accessories on their bodies, and some might even get makeup in the water!
If the head has words that say, " ©MGA China" then it is authentic. Older dolls (from 2016-2021) say “©, the year it was made, and China” on their heads. If the head says something else/doesn’t say anything then it isn’t authentic.
If the eyes are barely visible, the hair is painted badly/there’s bald spots, then it’s guaranteed to be fake. Real ones are painted well, and if there’s a paint mistake there’s only a little error.
Fake dolls oftentimes have spots with no hair at all, or hair that is frizzy and not neat at all. Real dolls have smooth hair. There are no bald spots at all, and if the doll has a specific hairstyle there might be lots of glue in the hair.
If the doll has no joints/you can’t move the limbs at all then it’s definitely fake.
If you just opened the doll, the bags that hold the doll and accessories are probably clear or made poorly if they are fake. If it’s a real doll, the packaging’s made out of paper. (As of 2022 to stay environmentally friendly) Older dolls have plastic packaging.
